Erosion

Thin layers of oil and alkyd paint on canvas create spaces of contemplation. All include interference and metallic paint, which changes according to the light.

Paintings partly inspired by Middle Eastern art, Hairat, or state of enchantment series, in acrylic and collage on canvas.

Magic Carpets

Layers of oil & alkyd paint & paintsticks on canvas create the intricate patterns of Middle Easter weavings. Kilims refer to flat woven rugs, and Magic Carpets to the richness of thicker rugs. Titles are derived from either specific weaving styles or rug making areas in Turkey and Iran.
